Composition: Wonders of Modern Science

Modern age is the age of science. We sleep on the lap of science. We are conscious of science from the moment we wake up until we go to sleep. It is offering newer and newer forms of embellishments (অলংকরণ) for human life. The modern advancement largely depends on the blessings of science.Science has brought immense (প্রচুর) blessings to us. It enables man to live a pleasant and simple existence. Once man was very helpless. But scientific knowledge and technology has enabled man to come out of his helplessness. In agriculture, communication, medical science and almost every field, man has made wonderful development with the knowledge of science. In fact, man gets countless blessings of science.

 

The invention of electricity has brought about a revolutionary (বৈপ্লবিক) change in the history of human civilization. Electricity is used to power machinery, factories, and other large vehicles. Electric heaters, lights, and fans have improved our quality of life. In actuality, electricity is the foundation of all scientific advances. In fact, all the scientific technologies rest on electricity.

Telephone and mobile phone help to remove distance. They enable instantaneous communication between people. They also enable us to send messages or news across a vast distance within a second.

Radio is another invention of modern science. It is a machine by which we can hear the sound from any part of the world. It helps to hear, listen and get amusement (মজা) and pleasure.

Television is a wonderful gift of modern science. It enables us not only to hear sounds but also to see the pictures. It is highly related to our everyday life. Our present time cannot be passed without watching television. In medical field, science has done unbelievable (অবিশ্বাস) improvement (উন্নতি). In the past, people succumbed to (মরা) diseases on a large scale. But science has helped man to fight against diseases. The invention of X-ray, ECG, Ultrasonography, Penicillin etc. has brought immense development in medical science. Again, the invention of food and medicines has lengthened (দীর্ঘ) man’s duration of life on earth.

Our agriculture has highly progressed with the help of science. It enables to invent scientific method of cultivation which helps to produce bumper (প্রচুর) crops. The invention of tractors, insecticides, fertilizers and other instruments has revolutionized our agriculture. Our life has progressed (উন্নত হওয়া) immensely (প্রচুর পরিমাণে) as our agriculture is improving with the help of science.

Science has brought unbelievable (অবিশ্বাস্য) advancement in nuclear energy. This progress has enabled us to use energy to embellish (সুন্দর করা) our daily life. The automatic energy is being utilized for peaceful and constructive (গঠনমূলক) purposes.

The wonders of science cannot be described in words. It is like the Aladdin’s magic lamp. The contribution of science on our daily life is limitless. In fact, we may state that the benefits of science have enriched our daily lives.
