Last updated on September 3, 2019, Creating a cPanel account in WHM is pretty simple. You can do it in just a few steps, and I’ll show you how with screenshots. First, log into your WHM panel.
If you don’t know how to do that, check out this article: How to Log into WHM. Once you’re logged in, look for the “Account Functions” section and click on the “Create a New Account” link.
We all know that cPanel is one of the most popular hosting control panels out there. But did you know that you can actually create a cPanel account in WHM?
In this blog post, we’re going to show you how to do just that. We’ll walk you through the process step-by-step, and include a screenshot so you can follow along. Creating a cPanel account in WHM is easy and only takes a few minutes. So let’s get started!
Enter Your Domain Information
If you’re looking to create a cPanel account in WHM, the process is actually quite simple. You’ll first need to log into your WHM panel, and then click on the “Account Functions” section. From there, you will want to click on the “Create a New Account” link.
Once you are on the “Create a New Account” page, you will need to enter your domain information. This includes your domain name, username, password, email address, and contact information.
Once you have entered all of this information, simply click on the “Create” button and your new cPanel account will be created!
Choose a Package
There are a few different ways that you can go about creating a cPanel account in WHM. The first way is to choose a package.
There are three main types of packages:
1. Shared Hosting: A shared hosting package is the most basic and affordable type of hosting. With this type of package, your website will be hosted on the same server as other websites.
This means that you will share resources such as bandwidth and disk space with other websites. Shared hosting is a good option for small businesses or personal websites that do not receive a lot of traffic.
2. VPS Hosting: A Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a type of hosting that gives you your own virtual server on a physical server.
This means that you will have your own resources such as bandwidth and disk space, and you will not have to share them with other websites. VPS hosting is a good option for medium-sized businesses or websites that receive a moderate amount of traffic.
3. Dedicated Hosting: A dedicated hosting package gives you your own physical server. This means that you will have your own resources such as bandwidth and disk space, and you will not have to share them with other websites.
Dedicated hosting is the most expensive option but it is also the best option for large businesses or websites that receive a lot of traffic.
Enter the domain name, username, and password
Assuming that you have root access to your WHM, follow the steps below to create a cPanel account for your domain:
1. Log in to your WHM and navigate to the “Account Functions” section.
2. Click on the “Create a New Account” option.
3. Enter the domain name, username, and password for the new cPanel account in the fields provided. Make sure to use a strong password for security purposes.
4. Select the desired package from the “Package” drop-down menu. If you’re not sure which package to select, you can leave the default option (“None”) selected.
5. Choose whether you want the account to be created as an add-on domain or parked domain by selecting the appropriate option from the “Domain Type” drop-down menu.
6. Once you’ve entered all the required information, click on the “Create” button to create the new cPanel account.
Select the package you want to use
There are several different packages offered by cPanel that you can choose from. Each package offers different features, so it’s important to select the one that is right for you.
To select the package you want to use, log in to your WHM account and click on “Add a Package”. You will then be able to select the desired package from the list of options.
When you first create a cPanel account in WHM, you’ll be asked to select a package. The package you select will determine the amount of disk space, bandwidth, email accounts, and other features that your cPanel account will have.
If you’re not sure which package to select, we recommend starting with the Small Business package. This package includes all of the features that most small businesses need, and it can always be upgraded later if necessary.
To select a package for your cPanel account, simply click on the name of the package in the list below. Once you’ve selected a package, you’ll be able to proceed to the next step of creating your cPanel account.

cPanel & WHM provides a mail server configuration interface that allows you to control all aspects of your email system. The Mail Routing & DNS Settings section of cPanel allows you to configure your mail servers and domain name servers (DNS) to work together.
In order to configure your mail servers, you will need to know the following:

Once you have this information, you can begin configuring your mail server.
To do so, follow these steps:
1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the “Mail” section, click on the “Mail Routing” icon.
3. Select the “Local Mail Exchanger” option.
4. Enter the hostname of your mail server in the “Server Hostname” field.
5. Enter the type of email account you have in the “Email Account Type” field.
6. Enter the username and password for your email account in the appropriate fields.
7. Click on the “Add Domain” button to add your domain name to the list of domains served by this mail server.
