If I were the Home Minister of Bangladesh
I am not a politician but if I were the Home Minister of Bangladesh how was I feeling? So I don’t have any dream to become the Home Minister of our country. But I believe if the Home Minister of a country does his/her duties with honesty, sincerity, diligence, and devotion, the law, and order situation of the country will be improving day by day and the people will live in an atmosphere of peace and happiness. So think if the Almighty gives me the chance of becoming the Home Minister of our country I will leave no stone unturned (যথাসাধ্য চেষ্টা করা) to accomplish (সম্পন্ন করা) some tasks which remained incomplete and unfulfilled since the independence of our motherland.
The first thing that I would do after becoming the Home Minister of Bangladesh is to update the Police Administration of the country. As I will have to implement the decisions of the government and maintain the law and order situation in the country, I will arrange proper training for the Police forces. If the Police forces are not trained properly, they will not be able to check the criminals to maintain the law and order situation in the country. If the law and order situation deteriorates (অবনতি হওয়া), peace and happiness will disappear (অদৃশ্য হওয়া) from the country and consequently (ফলস্বরূপ) it will be very difficult for the government to implement its political decisions in the country.
Secondly, I will strive to uproot (নির্মূল করা) terrorism with the help of the well-trained Police forces. I will also inspire the Police personnel to do their duties with honesty and devotion. I believe a well-trained honest police person is a great threat to the terrorists who destroy the peaceful environment of the country.
Thirdly, I will try my best to extirpate corruption in the Police forces. It may be mentioned here that corruption is rampant (অনিয়ন্ত্রিত) at every level of our society. So, if our police persons are free from corruption, it will be very easy for me to check the corrupted persons stringently
Fourthly I will uproot the drug business from the soil of my country with the help of the Police forces, Drug addiction is crippling (পঙ্গু করা) our nation day by day. If I fail to stop this heinous drug business, our younger generation will fall victim to drug addiction.
If I succeed in doing my duties as the Home Minister of my country with honesty, diligence, and devotion, a time will come when my country becomes one of the richest and most peaceful countries in the world. So I pray to the Almighty so that He gives me the opportunity to become the Home Minster of my country.
