Paragraph : Load Shedding

Load-Shedding

Load shedding (বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ সাময়িকভাবে বিচ্ছিন্নকরণ) means the discontinuation (বন্ধ) of the supply of electricity at a particular area. It is a great problem in our country. The main causes of load shedding in ur country are: insufficient production of electricity and unplanned (অপরিকল্পিত) distribution of electricity. It occurs for a definite period at noon or night. When the generation (উৎপাদন) of electricity is much less than the demand of the consumers, it occurs frequently (বারংবার). Load shedding causes different kinds of problems in our country. Its main victims are: our houses, mills, factories, industries, markets, clinics and hospitals. When it occurs (ঘটা), the students cannot study attentively. As a result they not do well in their examinations. The housewives (গৃহিনী) have to grope (অন্ধের মতো হাতড়াইয়া অনুসন্ধান করা) around in the dark for the necessary things which they need, the food kept in the refrigerator gets rotten (পঁচা) and the different kinds of operations at the clinics and hospitals are stopped. shedding causes an irreparable (অপূরণীয়) loss to our country. Moreover, when electricity supply fails at Thus load night, anti-social (সামাজবিরোধী) activities such as: mugging (ছিনতাই), theft (চুরি), robbery (ডাকাতি), etc. take place. Therefore, we want to get rid of this condition immediately (অবিলম্বে). In order to minimize (হ্রাস করা) load-shedding, the Govt. should set up more power stations and ensure (নিশ্চিত করা) planned (পরিকল্পিত) distribution (বন্টন) of electricity. The sooner we get rid of load-shedding, the better for the country.
